For Dubstech’s Protothon 2024 event, we were given 48 hours to design an app the best fits a set of prompts provided. Our team of five decided to design an app where users can have time travel in the palm of their hands.
Assigned the role of Designer on our team, I was responsible for turning our research findings into a lucrative design that seemed not just possible, but realistic as well. We focused on a on a real life situation and showed how a user might use time travel to solve a problem using our app, uJump.

Who is the User, by the way?
Meet 21 year - old, Emily Carson from the year 2024. Emily would like to travel throughout time to experience the events her parents have always told her about. But never quite knew how to make it happen… if, at all, possible.
Pain Points
A sense of emotional turmoil and disconnect from the past.
An inability to relive and recapture fond memories.
No adequate way to book time travel fast, safe, and easy!
How Might We
Personalize time travel for users like Emily to help them relive memories
Design
A personalized time travel feature that caters to revisiting time specific memories.
By adding customization, Emily can travel to her parent’s wedding day & create a new memory shared with her mom. Emily can also relive specific memorable events such as the Michael Jackson
half-time performance she enjoyed. Dave can also access the memory & share in the moment with his family.
How Might We
